Choosing Vessels

A vessel is the right choice when the urn is the memorial. It sits on a mantel or a shelf and it is meant to be looked at, so the form does the work: the proportion of the shoulder, the way light falls across a ribbed surface, how the lid meets the body.

Every design here comes in the same five capacities, named for the weight of the person rather than the weight of the urn. If you are not sure which you need, the size guide works it out in about ten seconds.

All of them are engineered ceramic, stone-white the whole way through, with no glaze on top to chip or craze.

Not sure what capacity you need? The size guide and calculator works it out from the person's weight, including when ashes are shared between family members.
